Comparing Arctic and Australian spirituality is a great way of building bridges and “de-provincialising” Arctic research. Often we are intellectually stuck in our own geographical field, because we are so involved with the people with whom we work there. This is very important, but it must not prevent us from sending out messages from our research to the rest of the planet. It seems this Arctic and Australian connection that Francis is cultivating here is a great avenue of doing this. Congratulations!
